Hi, I'm Stacia Proefrock. Helping women have safe, empowering births is my passion. I specialize in working with the whole family and its community, helping partners, siblings, extended family, and friends to welcome new babies into their lives and have enriching, joyful experiences around the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum time with their new baby.
My work as a homebirth midwife helps me to aid women who are planning low-intervention births or planning on laboring at home before birthing in the hospital setting. I specialize in helping women who are planning VBACs or who have a history of difficult first births. I also love to help moms navigate the hospital system and get the best care possible as they encounter chilbirth for the first time.
